JUGULA Gladiator – Hoplomachus.

As his name suggests, the Hoplomachus was based on the Greek hopite model and used a spear as his main weapon. He also had a round shield, but much smaller than the hoplon. The Hoplomachus was a defensive verson of the Thraex with slighty more armour.
