In the frozen Northern Wastes, only the hardiest of men and beasts survive. And, beyond the those lands is the realm of the Yeti. Whether they were pushed there by the encroachment of men or whether they prefer it no one knows. What is known is that as the settlements of man become larger and more populous, the conflicts with the Yeti have increased. It is not uncommon for individual Yeti or even bands of Yeti joining forces to raid human villages. The raids come out of the ice and snow and are incredibly quick and violent. Yeti often make off with livestock and human captives alike both of which they see as an equally acceptable food source.
