The Samung are a brutal race from a brutal planet with temperatures that range from oppressively hot in the summer to desperately cold in winter. On their home world and in their colonies abroad, Samung live in an almost constant state of internal warfare based on family, clan and tribe. These conditions may not be conducive to building a stable society, but they did produce some of the finest mercenaries in the known galaxies.
