JUGULA Gladiator – Retiarius.

The Retiarius is another classic gladiator whose image readily springs to mind when talking about combat in the Roman arenas. The Retiarius was a lightly armoured gladiator who used a trident and net in combat. The net was used to entangle their enemies and made them easy targets for the trident’s fatal blow.
